We are proud to announce the “7th Annual Conference of the Infectious Diseases Society of Pakistan” on the theme of ‘Microbial Threats - Local Challenges and Strategies’. The conference will be held on February 19– 20, 2010 at the Marriott Hotel, Karachi, with pre-conference workshops on February 17th and 18th, 2010.

This conference will bring together leading national and international researchers and practitioners to offer informative and thought provoking lectures, present research papers and conduct workshops in the prevention and management of Infectious Diseases. We believe that this is an important conference, given the present global climate of emerging pathogens, new epidemics and increasing antimicrobial resistance.

A wide range of topics will be covered such as tuberculosis, malaria, hepatitis, HIV, enteric infections, vaccines and pediatric infectious diseases, as well as Infection Control.
The Infectious Diseases Society of Pakistan is also pleased to announce its new collaboration with the International Society of Chemotherapy Infection and Cancer and greatly appreciate their participation at the conference.
